Senior Consultant

Melody Abedinejad is a certified and award-winning DEI leader, teacher, and conflict manager/mediator with extensive experience in the Fortune 500, tech, and non-profit sectors. She has worked in-house, leading DEI at companies of 1,000-30,000 employees globally. Melody meets clients where they are, helping them navigate the unknown in their DEI journeys. She believes in being an ally, advocate, and accomplice in the workplace and beyond.

Her journey in the world of DEI began upon birth to a family of immigrants. Growing up in a predominantly white suburb of Boston, Melody didn’t look like, act like, or share the same reference points as her peers. Rather than retreat, she welcomed all into her circle, fostering an inclusive and empathy-based mindset that continues into her career. She has received awards for community building, advocacy, and allyship.

Melody is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Johns Hopkins University. In her free time, she is a longtime volunteer with Dress for Success Boston, lifelong bass trombonist, and world-ranked axe thrower.
